Karen Strum is a licensed tattoo artist in Clearwater, Fl offering temporary and permanent tattoos. Temporary tattoos use Black Jagua Gel and Red Henna Paste which look real but only last about two-four weeks on the skin. After getting your ink, relax in one of our recliners in front of the fan while the tattoo dries so you don't run the risk of it smudging!

Your design will be wet for approximately 60 minutes if you don't dry it in front of a fan, but allow it to sit for at least 3-6 hours before washing it off for best results. At first the tattoo appears invisible. THIS IS NORMAL. Your design will start to darken and the color will fully develop over the next 24-48 hours. If you used Red Henna Paste on your tattoo, avoid contact with water in the tattoo area for the first 24 hours after initially washing off the paste. If the gel or paste starts flaking/peeling off early as it dries, you can apply a light spritz of hairspray to help hold it in place. If you go to bed without washing the tattoo off, you must cover the design. Trust me: you don't want to be walking around with a replica of your hand tattoo on your face.

Some of the permanent tattoos in the portfolio are tattooed on pieces of suede or synthetic leathers made of silicone or other man made materials. The inks are either full color or triple black. The pigskins are washed at least once during the process of tattooing which causes the inks to transfer to other areas of the leather. The pigskins may have been placed inside a decorative Photoshop or Illustrator frame. Some of the designs are original while others are standard line art. I have used unique colors combinations throughout.
