2016 HISTORIC SWANS OF LAKELAND Karen Strum Original 16x20 Frame

Regular price $90.00

This beautiful painting by Karen Strum captures the elegance of swans in a contemporary style. The artwork is an original, one-of-a-kind piece produced using pastels on archival sand paper in 2016. It comes framed and double matted, and the frame measures 16 inches in height and 20 inches in width. The back is professionally finished with a hanging wire. Because the medium is pastels, loose pastel dust can be seen in a couple spots.

The painting features swans as the subject and is signed by the artist.  The Historic Swans of Lakeland were gift from the Queen. Back in 1957, she gifted a pair of royal swans to the city. Those swans flourished and are now an iconic part of the city's culture. More than 80 of them now live at Lake Morton.  This piece was produced in Florida, USA, and is a true representation of American culture.
