1986 "IT" Stephen King Hardcover Dust Jacket

This is a hardcover edition of the classic horror novel "IT" by Stephen King. It was published by Viking in 1986.  The book comes with a dust jacket placed in a new, clear archival sleeve for protection. There is minor wear around the edges of the jacket.

Stephen King is the author of more than 50 books, all of them worldwide bestsellers. If you collect banned books,  "IT" is one you want in your library. In 1987, it was challenged in Lincoln school libraries because of the novel's "corruptive, obscene nature." And in 1992 it was placed on a "closed shelf" a the Franklinville Central High School library in New York for sexual content, violence, and language. Parental permission was required to check it out by students.
