This is a 2003 hardcover edition of The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. It is a first edition published by Doubleday with a full line number on the copyright page. The dust jacket is in excellent condition. The boards are dark brown with gilt lettering on the spine. The binding is structurally sound. There aren't any obvious signs of inscriptions, marginalization, or dog eared pages.


In this story, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon sorts through bizarre riddles, in which he is stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. Published in 2003, it was banned in Lebanon in for its offensiveness toward Christianity. In Dan Brown's novel, Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene are depicted as having a sexual relationship from which she bears children.
