Books

Welcome to my collection of banned and challenged books. Banning books is a method of control which has been employed over the centuries at national, state, and local levels. Churches, political groups, criminal justice institutions, educational groups and others have multiple viewpoints and everyone's opinion should be considered. I've categorized my collection into the top 10 major reasons that I have come across in my research for books to be banned or challenged. The titles used for the categories are terms I found in antiquarian novels and I didn't want them to get lost to the ages. The photos on the icons are taken from my tattoo portfolio and I felt they represented the subject matter.
