Tattoos & Art

Karen Strum is a licensed tattoo artist in Clearwater, Fl offering temporary and permanent tattoos. Temporary tattoos use Black Jagua Gel and Red Henna Paste which look real but only last about two-four weeks on the skin.

Art is often banned or challenged due to its content. It can be opposed by governments, political or religious groups, social media platforms, museums, and by private individuals. The collection below includes fine art that is of a banned or challenged subject matter. Some of the framed tattoos below are on pieces of suede or synthetic leathers. The pigskins are washed at least once during the process of tattooing which causes the inks to transfer to other areas of the leather. Some of the designs are original while others are standard line art. The colors combinations are unique.

I design artwork using retro imagery and vintage color palettes that add charm whether it is a comic, book cover, or tattoo. You're imagination is the limit. I can create illustrations using vector images on the computer, watercolors on canvases, or pastels on archival sand paper. If you use my design services you'll receive the original art and I can give you an electronic file.
