Custom Letterpress Greeting Card Design with Color Separations

Regular price $100.00

I love bringing designs to life through vintage printing techniques—especially when it involves something as unique as a 1905 antique letterpress! For this project, I created greeting cards using vector art so the colors could be separated into spot colors, which is ideal for plate output. The client wanted to print these cards on his antique letterpress using traditional methods, where inked plates press into paper to create a beautiful, tactile impression. It’s a hands-on, detailed process—but the result is truly one-of-a-kind.

The cards are now sold in charming little gift shops around Tarpon Springs, FL, a quaint Greek town with tons of character.

If you're looking to have greeting cards (or any artwork) designed with color separations for letterpress or specialty printing, I’d love to chat. I can probably even get this client to print them for you. Reach out before placing an order so we can talk through the details and make sure the design fits your project perfectly.
