Matching Swiftie-Inspired Henna Tattoos – for Concerts to Remember

Regular price $60.00

Taylor Swift came to Tampa recently—and from what I’ve heard, the concert was absolutely legendary. I didn’t get to see it myself because I was set up on Clearwater Beach that day, creating henna magic at my booth. That morning, a mom and daughter stopped by. They were in town for a cheerleading competition, but made it a big deal by grabbing Taylor Swift concert tickets months in advance. Talk about planning ahead!

They decided to get matching henna tattoos to mark the occasion—adorable Swiftie-style designs they could show off at the show. Even though they were staying nearby in a beachside hotel, they had to time things just right. If you’re thinking of doing something similar, here’s the deal:

Your henna needs time to develop. It stays wet for about an hour if you don’t use a fan to help it dry faster, and ideally, you want to keep it on for at least 3–6 hours before washing it off. Morning appointments are best—especially if you’re braving that Tampa Bay traffic to make it to a concert.

Don’t panic if the tattoo looks invisible at first—that’s totally normal. The color gradually darkens and fully develops over 24–48 hours. If you're using Red Henna Paste or Jagua Gel, avoid getting the area wet for at least 24 hours after rinsing off the paste for the best stain.

One tip: if the paste or gel starts to flake off early, a light spritz of hairspray can help hold it in place. And definitely cover the design if you go to sleep before washing it off—unless you’re going for a surprise print of your Swiftie tattoo on your face.
