Born in Torquay in 1890, Agatha Christie became, and remains, the best-selling novelist of all time. Her novel Passenger to Frankfurt is one of her final novels, published in 1970, and some say it's important because it questions the stability of post-war peace and the Allies' victory in World War II. The book is about Sir Stafford Nye's journey home from Malaya to London, where he encounters a young woman who tells him someone is trying to kill her in the passenger lounge at Frankfurt. The two cross paths again and again, but each time, the mystery woman is introduced as a different person. Novels by Agatha Christie are the latest classic works to be revised to remove politically incorrect and otherwise  offensive language to modern audiences. If you celebrate the freedom to read, collecting Agatha Christie novels will make a great addition to your library.
